The Browning Maxus II Stalker is a premium gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun engineered for maximum reliability, modern ergonomics, and all-business performance in the field, marsh, and range. Updated for the 2021 model year, the Maxus II builds on the legendary reputation of the original Maxus with new comfort enhancements, improved controls, and rugged styling designed for serious hunters and shooters.
Chambered in 12 gauge with a 3″ chamber, the Maxus II Stalker delivers versatile load capability across a wide range of ammunition. Its perfectly tuned Power Drive Gas System is built to function reliably across the ammunition spectrum while significantly reducing felt recoil, making it equally suited for high-volume range sessions or demanding hunting conditions.
Finished in a subdued no-glare matte black, the Stalker is designed for stealth and durability. The redesigned composite stock features overmolded rubber grip panels for improved control in wet or cold environments, along with a SoftFlex cheek pad and a thick Inflex recoil pad to further reduce recoil and increase comfort. The stock is shim adjustable for cast, drop, and length of pull, and can be trimmed for a broader shooter fit.
The Maxus II also includes oversized controls for faster manipulation, a ramped trigger guard for easier loading, and Nickel Teflon-coated internal components for enhanced corrosion resistance and smooth operation.
