The Streamlight TLR-8 Sub 1913 Short Model is a compact weapon-mounted light and laser system designed for subcompact handguns equipped with a 1913 Picatinny short rail. Built for concealed carry and defensive applications, this configuration offers a secure, low-profile fit on compatible railed subcompact pistols.
Delivering 500 lumens of white light with a 141 meter beam distance, the TLR-8 Sub provides focused illumination for positive target identification in low-light environments. The integrated 640–660 nanometer red laser enhances aiming capability across varied lighting conditions. Interchangeable rear paddle switches allow users to customize activation style, and ambidextrous controls support both right- and left-handed operation.
Powered by a single included CR123A lithium battery, the unit offers approximately 1.5 hours of runtime in light-only or light-and-laser mode, with extended runtime in laser-only mode. The rail grip clamp system enables secure attachment and removal without tools and without placing hands in front of the muzzle. Constructed from anodized machined aluminum, the TLR-8 Sub is IPX4 water-resistant and built for dependable performance in defensive carry use.
